Marine coordination

Marine coordination sits at the centre of safe offshore delivery. Our coordinators manage vessel movements, monitor traffic within and around the site, and maintain the operational picture that everyone offshore depends on.

We provide coordinators on rotation for continuous coverage, working either from an onshore marine coordination centre or embedded within the client's project team.

What we cover

• Vessel traffic management — monitoring and control of vessel movement within the wind farm and its approaches
• SIMOPS — planning and oversight of simultaneous operations so activities do not conflict
• Exclusion zones — definition, monitoring and enforcement of safety and construction zones
• Personnel tracking — live accounting of who is offshore, on which asset, and under what authorisation
• Emergency response coordination — acting as the communication hub when something goes wrong
• Daily reporting — operational reporting to the project team and stakeholders

Our marine coordinators work in NOMAS, our own vessel traffic management and permit to work system. That means the people and the software come from a single supplier, configured together, rather than a coordination team working around somebody else's tool.
